With J’Marcus Webb and Chris Williams set to fight it out to be the team’s starting left tackle, and with Carimi slated to start on the right side, Emery chose to stand pat in his first offseason. That’s no longer an option. After finishing in the bottom two in adjusted sack rate in 2010 and 2011, the Bears were 24th last season. Even if the team does think Webb improved over the course of 2012 (he did) and can be serviceable for right now (he probably can), that still doesn’t provide an answer on the right side
