Christopher Bleck

Chris is a producer at ESPN 1000 AM in Chicago. He has worked at ESPN since 2008. He works on Chicago Bulls Live, Bulls Buzz, Chicago’s Baseball Tonight, and The Show. He hosts the “Best of 1000″ podcast on ESPNChicago.com.

Chris went to Columbia College Chicago and studied broadcast journalism with a concentration in radio. During college, he interned at 95 WIIL Rock in Kenosha, 97.9 The Loop, and ESPN 1000.

Chris has been to every Chicago Bears home game since he was eleven, he is one of three people to watch every game of the post Jordan-era Bulls, and after watching Entourage, he was brainwashed into thinking that it is important to read Variety on a daily basis.

Sahadev Sharma

Sahadev is a producer for ESPN 1000 in Chicago, where he started as an intern in the summer of 2006.  Shows that he works on include Talkin’ Baseball, Bulls Buzz, Chicago Bulls Live, Chicago’s Baseball Tonight, Chicago’s Football Tonight, and The Show.  Much to his dismay, his first two shifts as an actual employee of ESPN 1000 were Games 1 and 2 of the 2007 NLDS as his beloved Cubbies dropped both games to the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Sahadev attended the University of Illinois – Urbana-Champaign and eventually tranferred to University of Illinios – Chicago where he studied both Civil Engineering and English with a focus on Non-Fiction Writing.  He has always had a passion for sports, especially Cubs’ baseball, Illini basketball and well, more baseball.  When not watching, reading, talking, or writing about sports, Sahadev enjoys watching bad reality television with his wife, catching up on sitcoms (Mad Men, Lost, and Friday Night Lights are just a few of the shows that fill up the space on his DVR), and reading.

His favorite sports’ memories include being in attendance for Nolan Ryan’s 300th win in Milwaukee’s County Stadium, being at Wrigley Field for Game 7 of the 2003 NLCS and feeling the earth move after Kerry Wood’s home run, and of course watching the Illini’s amazing comeback against Arizona in the 2005 Elite Eight.

Tim Bock

Tim is a former producer at 670AM The Score in Chicago. He worked at the Score in various capacities from 2003-2009. Prior to joining the Score, Tim studied radio broadcasting at Columbia College in Chicago, graduating with his Bachelor’s degree in Radio Talent/Production in 2004.

Tim has been an avid MMA fan for many years, and began his own website, www.mmagroundnpound.com in 2009. He enjoys watching and analyzing every major MMA event, but the ones that stand out the most to him are UFC 33 (Couture vs. Rizzo/ Hughes vs. Newton), UFC 43 (Liddell vs. Couture I), UFC 44 (Couture vs. Ortiz), UFC 71 (Jackson vs. Liddell) and UFC 100 (Lesnar vs. Mir II).

When not watching/analyzing/writing about MMA, Tim loves watching Florida State football. He is excited for the post-Bobby Bowden years, and fully expects them to return to the top of college football in the next few years. He also is a huge fan of the Cubs, which has prepared him well for any disappointments that he may face during his lifetime.

Rashad Bingham

I am a huge sports fan. I eat and sleep sports, which, probably is not healthy. I first discovered my love for writing during my younger years when attended a fine arts academy on the Westside of Chicago. I am a product of Holy Trinity and Providence St. Mel high schools. I went on to attend Daley College where I majored in Business but recently I have returned to focus on journalism.

I love anything from the 80’s and 90’s be it music, movies, television, even wrestling. I have probably seen every episode of at least seven sitcoms from start to finish. My favorite would be Martin, which I know every episode word for word.

My favorite team in the city is the White Sox but my favorite sport is basketball. I pride myself on being a well-rounded sports fan.

Anthony Nasella

A native of the Chicago south suburbs, Anthony has been a fan of Chicago sports his entire life and has channeled that passion as a published writer for daily newspapers in the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana area over the past three decades.

Anthony currently writes sports for the Post-Tribune Newspaper based in Merrillville, IN. Before that, he spent a decade at the Times Newspaper in Munster, IN, covering a wide range of high school and college sports as well as professional bowling events for six years. He spent his first four years getting his collective feet wet at the Daily Southtown in Chicago.

In addition, Anthony is an Adjunct English Professor at South Suburban College in South Holland, where he also earned his Associates Degree in 1993. He is a proud 1995 alum of Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL, which boasts three current NFL head coaches (Sean Payton, Mike Shanahan and Brad Childress) as well as Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.

Also a proud alumnus of St. Francis de Sales High School in Chicago, where his inspiration to write first took shape, Anthony takes great delight in a quarter century of sports greatness in Chicago, which has seen each major sports team in the city capture a world championship.

While at Purdue, he broadcasted the Big Ten Network Student U games and was the sports anchor for Purdue Student News.

Tommy is a huge college basketball fan and season ticket holder to Purdue basketball and football. Follows any former Purdue player or former coach whether it’s the NFL, NBA, or college basketball coaches such as Bruce Weber (Illini), Steve Lavin (the Johnnies), Kevin Stallings (Vandy), or Cuonzo Martin (Tennessee). He is a die-hard Chicago White Sox fan along with the Indianapolis Colts. Cheers for whichever team Luke Harangody ends up on in the NBA, currently being the Cleveland Cavaliers.
